Bonjour!! 
Just a little something from my Paris project. I haven’t really had a chance to learn how to use photoshop so I just mess around to see what I can do. These are inspired by Carole Wilmet a Belgian Illustrator. Her illustrations are REALLY cool!! I love the way she uses splashes of ink and colour on pencil drawings!

Paris day 3!!!

Such fun in Montmartre, and FYI macaroon icecream is definitely the way forward!! If I had all day I would sit and draw everything and anything I could see. Just be careful not to get trapped by pick pockets and don’t talk to anyone you don’t know. Ha sounds harsh but better to be safe than sorry 🙂 I really must get out my macaroon recipe and have another go, I still can’t seem to master them, who knew patisserie is so difficult?!

OH MY DAYS made my WEEK!!!!!!!!

 

So much I had to do one in Black and White…

 

And sepia!

 

 

Just chillin, looking at one of the most iconic, romantic and beautiful buildings in the world! This was definitely the best day out of three! We had a tour of Paris and got to sketch some of Monet’s finest “the water lily’s” first hand, (he’s my favorite impressionist). I loved wearing my beret round Paris, pretending to be french, answering questions with “Oui” and greeting others with “Bonjour” saying “Merci” and any other french phrase I could think of. Later in the evening we went for dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe, super yummy. Then finished the evening with a river boat cruise. Perfect x

Paris Trip Day 1!!

I have just come back from a school trip to PARIS!!!! I was very excited to go and my friends are probably sick of how much I went on about it!! So the first day we arrived at 2am then went to sleep till 7 to prepare for Disney 🙂 The park was packed and the castle was smaller than I expected but all the magic was there. The details on the buildings and rides were impeccable, little trodden horse shoes prints and the cobbled streets, so adorable. We stayed for the parade in the evening, the floats were immense! It really made me want to make one, they looked like 3D cartoons!! We waved and jumped at different characters to catch their attention and got a little wink off Buzz Lightyear! (Made my day) ha. Had loads of fun and ‘Day 2’ coming soon 🙂
